Jan. 14th, 2004 05:30 pmI blew off going to my mom's, on the grounds of I don't wanna drive in the snow during rush hour, and figured I'd do some web work instead, to ease the guilt. So I just spent almost 2 hours on a design, and then trashed the whole thing because it sucked. Sometimes good tools help creativity. I need MX, and can't afford it yet (yes, I'm still doing that legal software ethics thing.) It may have to be budgeted into my refund.
I did go to school today for a pilot program called "Campus411". They say they're trying to help students by opening some sort of 1-stop office for everything. I don't see that being feasible, but hey, at least they realize students are not happy about getting sent all over campus to solve their problems, most of which are caused by one administration department or another. The good thing about all of this is that they told me they are going to work on my behalf to solve my financial aid woes.
Newest financial aid woe - the stupid asshole that is working on my case typed in the Pell grant as a positive number, so now rather than owing nearly $3K, I appear to owe almost $5K!!! Mind-boggling, ain't it?
