Tonight's full moon is known as the Strawberry Moon in most of North America, and the Rose Moon in Europe.
I threw my back out Monday night, after we decided it was the perfect time to re-arrange the furniture, and have finally stretched/excercised and medicated it to a dull roar. In honor of that, or the full strawberry-rose moon, I'm going out to sing with Mojo Whitey for a set or two. Anyone who's bored should feel free to go to Savannah's and see it. Norm Tischler is playing horns, too.
One last lunatic piece of information: The Moon will also be at perigee at 9:00 a.m., at a distance of 221,993 miles from Earth. Very high tides can be expected from the coincidence of perigee with full Moon (referred to as an astronomical spring tide).
