Can I run away now?
Jul. 19th, 2004 09:12 pmMy daughter has been back in Ohio (rather unexpectedly) for about 24 hours, and already is bemoaning the fact that she's going insane at Granma's house. There's so much that I want to rant about, but that sentence wraps up much of it.
I picked her up in Akron yesterday, and on the ride home we talked. J:"I wanna tell you something. Do you promise not to yell?" Me: "No, of course not. I'll yell if I think it's appropriate to yell." Well, I didn't yell, but I did sigh a lot, and rant a bit, and now she's staying with my mother, who really needs the help. She doesn't have her driver's license yet, so she's stuck there. She has to deal with my brother for things like cigarette money and such. Poor kid.
One of the first things on her agenda is going to the Faire this weekend. She also wants to see the whole gang, and mentioned karaoke & bars. Perhaps Thursday?
