Got to shoot darts with
dageron again last night. I don't completely suck at this sport. Not that I'm good yet, but with practice, I could get good. Now I want my own darts. I found the Anglo American site, and the set I want costs $80. So I'll probably be going with my second choice, the $22 ones, which is still more than I should spend now, but justifiable in the long run. Especially if I intend to beat
drebleloaw at 301 someday. (Which I do intend to do someday. Be warned, darling - you've poked at my competitiveness now.)
CSU confirmed two Good Things:
1) The laptop stolen from administration was recovered, and they're pretty sure no info was retrieved from it, since the computer tech hired to break the encryption instead turned in the thief to the police. Hooray for people who do the right thing. This also means I can stop paying for Equifax to monitor for fraudulent shit.
2) The Sound for Film seminar is on for this weekend. Although I hate 8AM classes, I'll do it for 3 days and 2 credit hours.
It's starting to sink in that this is The Last Semester. I get to join the real world again in less than half a year. I'm not sure I want to, but barring any unforeseen incredible opportunities, I need the salary and benefits a corporate job entails. Although I did mail off my paperwork for the GRE voucher this week. Once I get that back I go take it for free. Maybe grad school will be in my future.
