Feb. 10th, 2006 02:04 pmI'm procrastinating digesting my lunch before working out, and catching up on headlines and lj in the computer lounge at school. There's a dance party going on. Really. Someone has hip-hoppish music turned WAY UP LOUD and a half-dozen guys in puffy coats and baggy pants are rocking back and forth, trying to impress the girls in too-tight jeans and furry high-heeled boots. Never a dull moment at CSU, if you're into people watching.
Actually witnessed in the hall today: a guy calls out to a blind guy, "Hey, dude!" and then even louder, "Dude, hey! It's James!" The blind guy replies, "Yeah, I heard you the first time. I'm blind, not deaf."
More school weirdness: yesterday I received a banana from a pink gorilla. The banana had a message written on it: Viking Hall - Fenn Tower - on campus living. I only took the proffered fruit because I felt sorry for the poor schmuck in the gorilla suit, who was being detoured around by all the students in the vicinity. And some marketing genius thinks this will convince students to live on campus.
Have I mentioned that I'm sick of rehearsals every day? Well, I have Saturday (and maybe Sunday) off! This means I can get some work done. Perhaps I can even reduce the size of the Towering Mountain of Laundry. It's pretty pitiful when I'm looking forward to laundry.
And if anyone would like to help me become more self-aware, you can click on some things here.
