A Queen of All Media is me!

marenceThe DVD of the CSU TV spots came in the mail. I'm in 3 of the 12 spots.
I love the way these are edited. In one spot, all you get of me is one word - "shopping?" I appear to be a suburban-mom-at-school, commenting on how downtown shopping can be just as good as the mall, whee!
In the next, I have a line about hundreds of class choices and finish off that spot. In the third, though, I tell how helpful counselors and advisors are for new students. Yes, after my recent advising woes at CSU, I'm featured in a spot extolling the virtues of CSU's counselors & advisors.
But anyway, this means I'm turning into a media whore. I'm half-hoping they're gonna put my face 8 ft tall on Euclid Avenue. Only half.
And I will be getting a by-line in the Cleveland Stater, and will be expected to do camera work for the V/A department as part of the class requirement for Multi-Source Video, so I'll have my name on all those tapes as "Camera Operator."

drebleloaw, but the universe seems to be giving me shameless self-promotion without me even having to work at it. I think I'm enjoying it, too.
But I still feel annoyed by many many many many small irrrrritations. I am irrrrrritated. 6 weeks. I am almost ready to askbatty_ to put a cute lil countdown app on the LOT site: X days til Season. Just so I can see how long it is. Have you noticed the past few nights seeming like September already - the slight chill, the crispness - and wanted to start silently stalking something? I expect this will be a very interesting Season for nearly all of us.
