Things which gladden my heart:
More Xmas decorations this year. All those lights at night make me happy.
There still exists a sense of chivalry and manners. Even tho I'm an inveterate woman's libber, I like having doors opened for me, or being allowed to go first just because of gender. I see this behavior routinely on the bus and in the elevators at CSU.
Chrissie Hynde and the Pretenders still rock, and had an obviously wonderful time playing the Agora last week. Eternal thanx to Dee for providing me with a ticket.

I'm even looking forward to dragging a dead tree into the front room. Since the grandson will be here Sunday, the three of us will be getting a tree, decorating, and making Xmas cookies. Well, I'll probably make the cookies and the guys will eat them.
What I'm not looking forward to is finding out my grades for the finals. I'm trying hard not to even think about it, because we all know that leads to obsessing and migraines and ulcers and depression. So I'm not doing it.
And because everyone else is doing it, the obligatory meme-thingies, behind cuts.
