I am writing this missive on a brandnew shiny black computer in CSU's computer lounge. I have dealt with my financial aid problems in a remarkably quick and painless way (they said, yeah, your eligible for loans, but nothing will be processed for 2 weeks at least, I said OK), and have an hour to waste until the Free Lunch & Grad Orientation & GA Paperwork Session.
I was told a Master's degree confers the honorary title of "Professor." I don't believe it, but that would be funny.

Once again, I want to publicly thank John for encouragement and enabling with the whole school thing. Thanks, darling. It means more to me than anyone can know.

edit: A Master's degree does not confer any honorary title in the United States. In some countries, one may be referred to as a "magister," Latin for master. Oh well, no title for me.
