Calling All Gamers!

For my Communication and Technology seminar, I'm following up on the concepts I've developed in a previous paper: community in online gaming. When you're playing online, do you talk to other people? If so, whether it's just to your clan or unit when on a mission, or actively seeking "new friends" in someplace like Second Life, I'd like to talk to you.
I'm recruiting people to participate in research about community in online games. The study will consist of a questionnaire and a focus group interview. If you are not available to come to Cleveland State University for the focus group, an online focus group may be available. If you or anyone you know if interested, please email marence AT gmail dot com and include the word gaming in the subject.
Feel free to pass on - I will be recruiting through the middle of October.
