We love Vegas...

Yes, that's snow.
We normally go to Vegas in December to get a little warmth. Not this time. Wednesday, Vegas had a record snow - 3" - the most since records were kept. They closed down McCarran airport for the first time since 1979. The highways south of the Strip were closed, since Clark County only has 2 snowplows and they were up at Mt. Charleston, which got 12-18" of snow.
On Thursday, on the way to the airport, I snapped this pic of a snowman. He was starting to melt in the sun.
