We're really getting married.

drebleloaw's post, it's official.
We've set a date: 10/14/08. Serendipitously, 14 years to the date from, as John put it, our "first encounter."
Since I refused to contemplate planning a wedding for more than 2 people, John has agreed to plan it. In, theory, I just have to show up, dressed appropriately* and preceded by bridesmaids. I can do that.
